ShipShapeSearchers have obtained the high resolution Lidar and hyperspectral data from commissioned flights by Airborne Research Australia. Below are two images on the main graveyard area. This demonstrates how material remains of the sites can be detected once the overlying vegetation is removed.
The next task is to filter and interpret the data to ascertain the best way to view the sites in Lidar imagery.
